The
Webelos program is for boys who have completed third grade (or are age 10). A boy may begin working on the Webelos badge
as soon as he joins a Webelos den. This is the first step in his transition from the Webelos den to Boy Scouting and from
being a boy to a young man.
As he completes the requirements found in the Webelos Handbook, he will work on activity badges of all types, have a great time experimenting with different skills, and become familiar with the Boy Scout requirements
— all leading to the Arrow of Light Award, Cub Scouting's highest rank.
Pack 70 has both Junior and Senior Webelos
Dens. 2009-10 Junior Webelos (4th graders) are under the leadership of Rob Carpenter (203-972-9301 or e-mail) and Marc Harrison (917-412-4080 or via email) while Suzanne Brannon (966-4490 or via email) runs the 2009-10 Senior Webelos (5th graders). Jr. Webelos generally
meet every other week, typically Sunday afternoons from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm. Senior Webelos meetings are generally held Monday's from 6:45 to 7:45 pm at the Brannon Home, 11 Betsey's
Lane.
